Learning through doing

JAY, Fla. -- Members of the Society of Military Engineers Pensacola Post spent an afternoon with local fifth graders at Jay Elementary school last month at a learning session designed to show them real world applications of engineering principals. The students built towers out of newspapers and tape, and the winner was the design that was the tallest, which was 52 inches. (Source: Whiting Tower, 05/24/17)
