Whiting community work honored

NAVAL AIR STATION WHITING FIELD, Fla. -- The Chief of Naval Operations recognized Whiting Field's support to their community with an Honorable Mention for the Personal Excellence Flagship Award. The award is presented annually to commands who engage in outstanding community service activities that promote academics, life skills, and civic education for youth. Nearly 80 members of NAS Whiting Field's team participated in programs designed to help youths in the local community.
